Sanctuary

newmar1Here’s a great new romantic suspense. I just finished yesterday, and really enjoyed this one. It has a unique premise and a riveting plot. Lots of action. Lots of mystery. Lots of reading goodness. Here’s the nitty gritty on this new book by Traci Abramson.

Synopsis

Kristi Hartinger has come to terms with her life as a single, thirty-something woman. She was in love . . . once. But following her boyfriend’s tragic death, no one else could capture her heart. And nothing else could fill that void, though the serenity of the ocean came close. Two years ago, Kristi left the craziness of her Wall Street career behind and embraced a simpler life on her family’s private island off the coast of Maine. As a resident of the small beach community, she anticipates a quiet future until she comes face-to-face with her past. Continue reading

Tripwire

Tripwire BannerThe bomb is ticking…so read fast! Ha ha. Just kidding. I finished this exciting romantic thriller by Traci Hunter Abramson, and it had bombs though, as well as terrorists, movie stars, special forces teams, beaches, barbecues, and romance. Sounds perfect, right? Read on to learn more and enter the giveaway to win a copy of this awesome book. Continue reading

The Capture

TheCapture_CVR_MEDWoohoo! I just finished another awesome, thrilling book. This one is not my normal gushy romance that I adore, but wow! it was still amazing. There’s still romance in it, but tons of action, adventure, torture, bombs, threats, running for your lives…you get the picture. If you’re a scaredy cat, this book isn’t for you. Well, maybe it is, because I’m a total scaredy cat, and I still loved it. It’s not haunted house or freaky demon scary….just thrilling, on-the-edge-of-your-seat action and suspense. I can take that kind of scary. Here’s the blurb: Continue reading

Tour de Hands – Day 3

bikeWe’re only 3 days into this race of words, but it’s already been intense and my books are huffing and puffing. To recap some of the highlights along the course so far…

  • We started Day 1 down in Texas at Taylor Dean’s site. Eyes of Light was in the lead there
  • Day 2 we ran into heavy snow up in Cape Cod (yes, my books put the Tour de France bikers to shame with their speed across long distances) and had to stop for a short pit stop at Sheila Hurst’s

Tour de Hands-Day 1

cityBikeRidersIt’s a little cold for biking right now, but my book, Hands of Mercy, wanted some exercise still. So starting today, my Bending Willow Trilogy books will be racing through other sites for the first official Tour de Hands. That’s right, and you have front row seats for this riveting race of words.

Today, Eyes of Light (Vol. 1) is in the lead over at Taylor Dean’s blog down in Texas. Taylor is not only one of my favorite authors, but she’s also Continue reading

Betrayed – A Thrilling Read

I love reading! (You probably know that by now.) And I love reviewing a good book, and Betrayed by Ronda Gibb Hinrichsen was an exciting story I had a hard time putting down to do dreary, necessary work at home. Yes, laundry got ignored and there are some white shirts that now need to be ironed badly, but it was worth the extra ironing to finish this intense mystery and not have it plaguing my mind at bedtime. (I like my sleep)

Here’s the synopsis: Continue reading

Leisl Leighton’s Book Launch

KillingMeSoftly_cover

I’m participating in a book launch today for Leisl Leighton’s new book, Killing Me Softly. So without further ado, I will turn the time over to Leisl to introduce us to her and her book.

Personal facts:

I am a tall red head with an overly large imagination who can talk the hind leg off a donkey, so it came as no surprise to my family that I completely fell in love with Anne of Green Gables when my Nanna gave it to me for my 10th birthday. I too was a dreamer, who at times was overly dramatic and lived my life vicariously through the worlds written by others and in my own dreams. Continue reading
