As promised, I will review Heart Thief today by Taylor Dean. I will also be giving away an ebook of this amazing book next week, so leave a comment. As I posted yesterday, Heart Thief is the first book in the Love Under Wraps series. It’s a forbidden romance with lots of heart-tugging, emotional tug-a-waring, and ultimate happy ending-ing. (I know that’s not grammatically kosher, but I’m going with it).
Taylor Dean is from Texas, and she’s pretty much the nicest person ever. When I was a newbie author with no idea how to do anything in the writing world, I reached out to her–a total stranger, but one who I admired greatly because of her writing style–and asked for some guidance. She went beyond the call of duty to mentor me, helping me gain confidence as a writer (which is hard in this world of haters). Now, I feel I can call her not only a helpful writing mentor, but a true friend. If we lived in the same state, we would be hanging out a TON. You can learn more about Taylor and all her awesome books on her website. Now, let’s get to her newest book: Continue reading
Happy dance!!! I’m so excited to announce that the Love Under Wraps stand-alone series kicks off tomorrow. Yea!!! I’ve been waiting for this for a long time…because I’m one of the authors involved–so, yeah. 🙂
I’ll be giving away free ebooks as each book releases, so check in here, or join the Stuck on Love FB page so you don’t miss out on the fun. Also, if you have a birthday, you should join the page so you can be in our monthly bday drawings as well. Winning is fun.
The Love Under Wraps series contain 3 forbidden romances written by 3 different authors. Taylor is from Texas, I’m from central Utah, and Mylissa is from Belgium. Taylor drove through Utah on her way to see grandkids recently, so she met me at an Olive Garden and we probably drove the waiter crazy because we just talked and talked and talked. For a long time. And we could’ve talked longer. Sadly, Mylissa could only be with us by picture (so we couldn’t talk–although we talk a ton on emails–yea for emails!). Here we all are together (kind of).
I wish you could know these authors as I’ve come to know them. They are not only talented, but they are kind–which is the best praise I feel I can give to someone these days. They truly have become my friends, and I hope you can connect with their amazing spirits as you read their books in the next month or so. Here is the release schedule.
Nov 1: TOMORROW! Heart Thief by Taylor Dean. I will post about this then, and announce a giveaway. So stay tuned.
Dec 1: Mylissa Demeyere’s book, Rules Are Made to be Broken, will release. Isn’t her cover so cute?
Jan 1: My book, A Wrinkle in Forever, will end the stand-alone series on New Year’s.
To end, I’ll just leave this link to the song that Mylissa chose to inspire us all from the beginning. It’ll give you a little peek into what you’re in for with these books.
