Tour de Hands – Day 9

P1010290It’s a race to the finish as we meander into Michigan for the final stretch of the 1st annual Tour de Hands where Rebecca Belliston is waiting to congratulate the winners at the finish line. Rebecca has written several awesome books that I’ve enjoyed (Sadie and Life among others)

This event has been grueling in that it has covered long distances over the course of an entire month. Are you as tired as my books are? I hope not. If you are, I’ll share my chocolate chip stash with you (they’re even frozen…my favorite way to eat them). Continue reading

Tour de Hands – Day 4

file5231241720377It’s been a crazy race of words this week. My Bending Willow Books have traveled from Texas to Cape Cod, and back to Texas. They’re hanging out at Taylor Dean’s blog for the next week until Phase 2 of our Tour de Hands begins. My books need time to rest their legs. (Yes, they have legs, and they’re tired). Currently, Hands of Mercy is in the lead, so go cheer Hands on (hee hee–no pun intended). Continue reading

Tour de Hands – Day 2

SONY DSCThe race of races started yesterday. My Bending Willow Trilogy books are pedaling hard toward the finish line and making stops along the way on this arduous Tour de Hands course to promote team Hands of Mercy sponsored by me, myself and I.

Today, we’re stopping for a breather at author Sheila Hurst’s blog because we just got dumped on and can’t pedal very good through all this snow in Sheila’s part of the country. If books have legs, they’re burning right now and need a chance to recover. They’ll need power for the steep climbs ahead (hopefully after the snowplows clear the roads), so they’re resting while Sheila interviews me. Continue reading

It’s Out! Clap your Hands

3-HandsOfMercy_ebookRGBGet excited and do your happy dance. I know I am. Hands of Mercy is finally available to read today. Yeehaw! It is such a relief to have this done and ready for the public–YOU! This last book has traveled a long, winding road. I have written and then rewritten it dozens of times, trying to get it just right and fixing flat tires along the way. Hopefully you will feel the long wait has been worth it now that it has arrived.

Synopsis of the Bending Willow Trilogy:

A cast of three very different heroes come together in this trilogy. Austan Sandoval is the master of disguise and deception. James Continue reading

Release date – Hands of Mercy – Jan 26

BW TrilogyMy daughter is in the process of redesigning my covers for the Bending Willow Trilogy. I’m so excited and love her ideas! This series has been four years in the making (shhh! I know I’m slow, but please don’t taunt me).  As I’ve written and revised each volume, my overall vision for this set has transformed as characters have surprised me and done things I haven’t expected. As I watched my characters suffer, this quote became my new theme.
