Here’s another February read. I vacationed in Northern California last week and finished several books when we relaxed each evening in our hotel room.
27 Ways to Find a Boyfriend was a super cute chick lit. Addison and Carter are the MCs and they are adorable. Carter works for Addison’s dad as a mechanic of classic cars. Addison works there too and has had a crush on him for as long as she can remember. But her dad’s rule for all the guys who work for him is to leave his daughter alone…or they’re gone.
Carter has the chance of a life time to work on a celebrity’s fancy car restoration, but his growing feelings for Addison as she starts working on her list to get a guy threatens all his dreams. Yet, he can’t stand to sit by and watch her attract the wrong guys to her as she tries to act helpless. Continue reading
The second book in the Love Under Wraps series is out now (and I’m going to give away a copy, so leave a comment to enter)! Heart Thief by Taylor Dean came out last month. Now Mylissa Demeyere’s book is out–Rules are Made to be Broken. Isn’t this cover the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen? I love it. And the inside is awesome too. This is another forbidden romance / second chance / friends to lovers story. Here is the synopsis:

As promised, I will review Heart Thief today by Taylor Dean. I will also be giving away an ebook of this amazing book next week, so leave a comment. As I posted yesterday, Heart Thief is the first book in the Love Under Wraps series. It’s a forbidden romance with lots of heart-tugging, emotional tug-a-waring, and ultimate happy ending-ing. (I know that’s not grammatically kosher, but I’m going with it).
Taylor Dean is from Texas, and she’s pretty much the nicest person ever. When I was a newbie author with no idea how to do anything in the writing world, I reached out to her–a total stranger, but one who I admired greatly because of her writing style–and asked for some guidance. She went beyond the call of duty to mentor me, helping me gain confidence as a writer (which is hard in this world of haters). Now, I feel I can call her not only a helpful writing mentor, but a true friend. If we lived in the same state, we would be hanging out a TON. You can learn more about Taylor and all her awesome books on her website. Now, let’s get to her newest book: Continue reading
I am so excited to reveal this newest book by Rachael Anderson today. For the last month, I’ve had some scrumptious reading to keep me super satisfied. This book was amazing… and there’s a rafflecopter giveaway at the end of the post. So read on & enter for a chance to win. Here’s the blurb:
Abigail Nash leads a lonely existence. Her mother died giving birth to her, her father’s business dealings took him away more often than not, and her ailing great-aunt, unable to provide much in the way of companionship, was a lack-luster guardian at best. So when her dear friends offered to launch her into London society, it appeared Abby’s life was taking a turn for the better, with suitors and social engagements aplenty. When she marries a proclaimed darling of the ton, it seems she will at last settle into the life of her dreams. Continue reading
