It’s a race to the finish as we meander into Michigan for the final stretch of the 1st annual Tour de Hands where Rebecca Belliston is waiting to congratulate the winners at the finish line. Rebecca has written several awesome books that I’ve enjoyed (Sadie and Life among others)
This event has been grueling in that it has covered long distances over the course of an entire month. Are you as tired as my books are? I hope not. If you are, I’ll share my chocolate chip stash with you (they’re even frozen…my favorite way to eat them). Continue reading
Today’s leg of the race is taking my books to the great state of Utah where Cami Checketts is at the finish line to hug my books with a little review. They’re over halfway done with the tour and are a little winded, having started in Texas, kicked it cross-country to Cape Cod, narrated in their sleep in Nebraska, and caught air in Kansas before heading to the mountains for some strenuous uphill cycling. Continue reading
And the race continues. This tour has covered a lot of area over the last two weeks. My books have traveled to Texas, cycled to Cape Cod, napped in Nebraska after covering a grueling Midwest section of the race.
But today they’re kicking it into high gear to reach Kansas, where my good friend, Michelle Terry, is interviewing the team while we take a breather in Topeka. I hope you’ll show your support by reading her article. Continue reading
Yeehaw! My books are on the go again after a nice break at Taylor Dean’s site last week in Texas. Now they’ve traveled up to the great state of Nebraska and are stopping for another pit stop at Gina Barlean’s farm. Gina is another friend of mine who I wish to meet in person. She’s an awesome writer who has also been a tremendous support. She read my series and even beta-read the last book and gave me feedback. I’m so grateful to connect with her through our writing. Continue reading
It’s been a crazy race of words this week. My Bending Willow Books have traveled from Texas to Cape Cod, and back to Texas. They’re hanging out at Taylor Dean’s blog for the next week until Phase 2 of our Tour de Hands begins. My books need time to rest their legs. (Yes, they have legs, and they’re tired). Currently, Hands of Mercy is in the lead, so go cheer Hands on (hee hee–no pun intended). Continue reading
Get excited and do your happy dance. I know I am. Hands of Mercy is finally available to read today. Yeehaw! It is such a relief to have this done and ready for the public–YOU! This last book has traveled a long, winding road. I have written and then rewritten it dozens of times, trying to get it just right and fixing flat tires along the way. Hopefully you will feel the long wait has been worth it now that it has arrived.
Synopsis of the Bending Willow Trilogy:
A cast of three very different heroes come together in this trilogy. Austan Sandoval is the master of disguise and deception. James Continue reading
The conclusion to the Bending Willow Trilogy is available for Pre-Order on Amazon. Next week it goes LIVE, so if you’re forgetful like me, order your copy now and it will automatically upload to your eReader on January 26th.
I love this convenience!
Here’s the new book trailer for Hands of Mercy to get you excited for the release.
Have a great week!
Names wield power. They can be used for good or bad. Kids sometimes use them to destroy on the playground. You get labeled Ugly or some other demeaning nickname and it can scar you for life. God used names to show a transformation to a higher calling…like Abram to Abraham.
In this scene from Eyes of Light, the power in a name is shown. Suvi has just met James (Jamie) for the first time and learned his name. She changes it, and it symbolizes the change in him as well. Continue reading
Here are the most awesome trailers you will ever watch. Just kidding. But I took hours remaking them for the Bending Willow Trilogy release, so hopefully they don’t bore you to tears. But tears of joy would be all right. If that happens, here’s a Kleenex.
Here is the new trailer for Eyes of Light, the first book in the trilogy that follows the lives of Suvi, Austan, and James Continue reading
