I’m super excited to be part of the For Elise Blog Tour. Sarah Eden is a very talented writer of regency romances. I’ve loved every book I’ve read of hers so far…and this brand new one didn’t disappoint.
Elise and Miles grew up together as best friends. But when Elise disappeared without a trace when she was 15 years old, Miles lost a part of himself and has been haunted by her loss ever since.
Four years later, he accidentally stumbles upon Elise and her 3 year old child in another township. Horrified to see her begging remnants from the merchants and living in impoverished conditions as a widow, he takes her and her daughter and Mrs. Jones, her mother-in-law, back home with him. He thinks Elise should be thrilled to be reunited with him—because he is—but she acts cold and withdrawn. He would do anything for Elise; indeed, he only wants her happiness. So why does she now seem to despise and distrust him? What happened to the cheerful girl who once adored him?
This story was amazing, like all of Sarah Eden’s books are. Her writing is superb. The characters are deep and the scenes masterfully written to pull you along through misunderstandings, intense mysteries and the deepest emotions to be felt.
If you haven’t read one of Sarah Eden’s books yet, I encourage you to do so. She has a gift. Also, you can click on the rafflecopter link below to enter to win a $50 Amazon gift card during this blog tour. The full tour is listed, so check out the new posts each day to have more chances to win.
